Nepaya is a premium small-batch tea brand sourcing single-origin teas from the Eastern Himalayas of Nepal, grown at altitudes of 4,000–7,000 feet — over 2,000 feet higher than Darjeeling. Every blend is crafted to deliver measurably higher L-theanine, cleaner antioxidants, and a depth of flavour that lowland tea simply cannot replicate.
We are not building another tea brand. We are pouring a mountain into a cup.
All Nepaya teas are sourced from small, artisan gardens in the Eastern Himalayas of Nepal — the highest tea-growing region on Earth. Our leaves are grown at 4,000–7,000 feet above sea level, where cold nights slow growth, thin air concentrates flavour, and undisturbed soil delivers natural purity.
Unlike mass-market tea regions, Nepal has stayed quietly artisan — smaller gardens, gentler hands, less industry, more intention.
High altitude changes everything. At 7,000 feet, the same Camellia sinensis plant grows more slowly, concentrating more L-theanine, more antioxidants, and more complex flavour compounds than lowland tea.
Small-batch means we source in limited quantities directly from specific Himalayan gardens at peak harvest. Nothing sits in a warehouse for months. No blending with cheaper leaves from different origins. Every batch is traceable, fresh, and processed with the care that industrial tea production long abandoned.

Our teas are grown in the high Himalayas using traditional, low-intervention farming methods — in soil so clean and undisturbed that purity is a description, not merely a certification. While we are in the process of pursuing formal organic certification, the growing conditions, altitude, and farming practices far exceed the standards that certification measures.

Pyramid tea bags are three-dimensional, roomy tea bags shaped like a pyramid. Unlike flat, compressed tea bags that restrict the leaves, pyramid bags give the leaves space to unfurl fully — releasing more flavour, more aroma, and more beneficial compounds into your cup.
You can also see the quality of the ingredients through our transparent bags — real leaves and botanicals, never powders or dust.
No artificial additives or preservatives — ever. Some blends use natural flavours (such as natural lemon flavour in Lemon & Ginger, or natural chocolate flavour in Chocolate Caramel) derived from real food sources. Every ingredient is clearly listed on the product page and packaging.

Green tea is delicate — heat it gently.

Herbal teas are forgiving — the longer the steep, the deeper the flavour.

Any Nepaya blend can be served iced. Here's the simplest method:

Best latte blends: Masala Chai, Black Cardamom, Royal Rose, Chocolate Caramel, English Breakfast.
Yes — particularly green teas. Himalayan Green and Lemon & Ginger both re-steep beautifully for a softer, more delicate second cup. Use slightly cooler water and reduce steeping time by 30 seconds for the re-steep. Black and herbal teas can also be re-steeped once, though the flavour will be lighter.
L-theanine is a naturally occurring amino acid found almost exclusively in tea leaves. It promotes a state of calm, focused alertness — often described as "alert relaxation" — by increasing alpha brain wave activity without causing drowsiness.
When combined with caffeine (as in green and black tea), L-theanine smooths out the caffeine effect — delivering sustained energy and focus without the jitters or crash. High-altitude growing conditions naturally concentrate higher levels of L-theanine, making Nepaya teas particularly effective for calm, clear-headed productivity.
The following blends are completely caffeine-free:
Green teas (Himalayan Green, Lemon & Ginger, Senna Peppermint) contain low natural caffeine. Black teas contain moderate to high natural caffeine.
Yes — all Nepaya teas are 100% vegan and gluten-free. Our pyramid tea bags are made from plant-based biodegradable mesh with no animal-derived components. No gluten-containing ingredients are used in any blend.
No declared allergens are present in any Nepaya blend. However, all teas are packed in a facility that also handles tree nuts, dairy, and soy. If you have severe allergies, please consult your healthcare provider before use.

Store your Nepaya tea in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, strong odours, heat, and moisture. Keep the pouch sealed between uses. A kitchen cupboard away from the stove is ideal.
Avoid storing tea near spices, coffee, or strongly scented items — tea leaves readily absorb surrounding aromas.
Properly stored, Nepaya Tea stays fresh for up to 24 months from the production date. Each pack includes a best-before date. Because we source in small batches, you can be confident that what you receive is fresh from a recent harvest — not warehouse-aged stock.
We do not recommend storing dry tea in the fridge. The moisture and strong food odours in a refrigerator can damage the tea. However, brewed iced tea can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 48 hours in a sealed container. Shake or stir before serving.
